WW2 German DLV (Deutsche Luftsport Verband) Cap Badge 
Red and black enamelled inlay on an alloy body and a mercury silvered wash finish. Size approx 72 x 32 mm.  This is an early example, 2 part construction without the makers name, possibly by Steinhauer & Luck Ludenscheid - Ges. Gesch. The heavy duty soldered brass prongs are intact and there is no evidence of damage. The badge is uncleaned in original condition with a nice aged patina.
